This mix has an easy-to-water formula and feeds for up to 6 months. Coconut coir holds and releases water and helps the soil re-wet. Apply this potting soil to indoor potted plants including common houseplants tropicals climbing plants foliage plants and flowering plants. To use select a pot with a drainage hole and fill about 1/3 full with potting mix. Loosen the plant’s root ball and place in the pot. Add more mix and press lightly. Water the plant; let it drain. Mix should be allowed to dry to the touch between waterings. To avoid soil compaction and replenish nutrients container plants should be repotted every year or as needed.
