Why called the 5-in-1 drill bits? The 5-in-1 cross-cut carbide bits are designed to be multi-purposeful. Each bit includes 3 different grits from top to bottom. It also has a safety bit. A fine grit on top medium grit in the middle and coarser grit on the bottom. Every size comes in a gradient grit size fitted to the nail tech's preference. The finer grit allows the bit to be used safely and will prevent burning or cutting your nails. Medium grit is useful when removing gels as well as shaping and making the nail bed smoother. The coarser grit is for backfills shaping and shortening the nails. This carbide drill bit only fits 3/32"" shanks. The drill bits also come in 7 different grit sizes (ranging from triple coarse to extra fine) .
