1TB WD ELEMENTS USB

In order for the hard drive to be read and written on both a PC and a Mac it must be formatted in the ExFAT or FAT32 file format. WD Elements is pre-configured for use on a Windows PC. Mac users need to reformat the drive to EXFAT or HSF + J format (for use with Time Machine). Users can use the Disk Utility app on their Mac or download the WD Drive Utilities software.
