Who knew moving next to a hockey player would change my life? Looking for a fresh start away from the impossible-to-meet expectations of my family in Texas I take a job in Seattle. But my antagonistic new neighbor seems to be determined to make my new home as hostile as the one I came from. On the first day he slams the door in my face when I’m moving in makes me drop my box and break one of the keepsakes my grandmother passed down to me and doesn’t even apologize! It’s okay though. I repay the favor at every chance I get. Until one day I see him panicking his car dead clearly late for something important judging by his suit. Unable to help myself I give him a jump and end up helping him replace his battery after he’s back from his first preseason game. That’s right. Jerky neighbor with the dead battery? He’s a professional hockey player. He insists on paying me back for my help with tickets to the first game of the season. We go ou
